On 3 April 2013, NASA scientists reported that hints of dark matter may have been detected.According to the scientists, “The first resullts from the space-borne Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer confirm an unexplained excess of high-energy positrons in Earth-bound cosmic rays” Some sources declare dark matter as the most powerful version of gamma rays. But contrary to this, dark matter is characterised by neither absorbing nor emitting any light.
